My future dream has explained too many things. At first when I was little I wanted to become a veterinarian. I love helping pets out because I am a pet lover when it comes to cats, dogs, hamsters and etc. When I got older, I wanted to become a volleyball player. It really hit me when I went to a Stanford volleyball game. As I saw how good they were, I wanted to be just like them. There were a lot of other dreams wondering through my mind but, I’ve had come to a conclusion on which dream I want to peruse which is, technology.
Technology is a really big thing for me. I’ve always wanted to do something with it because I seem to already know a lot from not taking any kind of classes or whatever just watching other people use it. Technology is a main topic around the world. Everyone uses it because it’s very useful and it’s an everyday topic because there is always something new coming out! Technology can be a really useful skill to know when working with computers or any electronics. It seems like the older generation doesn’t really know how the new and improve technology is use. It’s really helpful to learn about this kind of stuff because you might need it for a job or just helping out someone or maybe you just want to learn new things that you haven’t learned before.
In order to achieve this dream, I must do certain things that are required to make this dream come true. Things that can help me make my dream complete is taking classes, learning about specific topics and etc. A big thing right now that is helping my dream come true is, doing academy of information technology program at school. This class is teaching me about Microsoft word, excel, power point and etc. There are a lot of other things I need to improve on to achieve this dream but, I think these things have made me strong for aiming at my dream!
In class we were reading a book called “The Great Gatsby” by F Scott Fitzgerald. One of the main characters is Gatsby. Gatsby has problems accomplishing his own dreams and it messes up the outcome of his life/future. In the book, Gatsby came across by rushing his dreams which shows that you shouldn’t rush anything and take your time because, if you rush it, you will end up like Gatsby and lose everything you learned and had. Gatsby had also thought his dream would become true 100% but in the end it fails him like when he went on rushing things. Gatsby didn’t seem to really know what he was doing. He just wanted to get things done and not wait which shows his impatient to achieve anything in life. Gatsby did not plan anything too. It’s good to have some back up plans or even some plans because if you don’t, you’re going to become too cocky. Not having any back up plans will crush your dreams because, you will be so focus on trying to get what you want and in the end you don’t get it at that’s the end of you dream. Gatsby came across lots of problems in not achieve his own dream, and I hope to not become like him because, that’s just being too cocky and wanting something really bad and not knowing the outcome. I go with the motto “time will tell” because if you just wait, things will fall into place!
Being someone who deals with technology would be a great dream for me in the future. Doing something which technology is not my only dream in life, like I said earlier I have back up ideas just in case this one fails or something happens. I enjoy anything with technology because that is what teens at my age like to do! I enjoy learning new things about technology and sharing idea with others and even working with others on ways to improve technology and talk about what’s the new technology. I hope by learning all this stuff I will be able in the future to accomplish my dream. I’m looking forward to what the future has in store for me!
